Hello, New Bern! Joanne is excited to have recently moved here from New Jersey with her husband, Tony, and their three-year-old Silver Lab, Chunk.
Though she initially earned a degree in Construction Engineering from NJIT, Joanne stepped away to raise her two sons (Ethan, in tech, and Wyatt, studying at UNC Charlotte). It was during years on the sidelines, watching her boys play baseball and football, that she became truly fascinated by the study of movement and the resilience of the human body. This led her to become a Pilates instructor at Lifetime Athletic.
Joanne's engineering background gives her a unique, precise perspective on the body's structure, which she combines with her specialized training to help everyone feel stronger and move better. Her expertise covers a wide spectrum of needs, from high-performance athletes to those in recovery:
